Advices for Applicants when starting works for products conformity attestation and certification in Ukraine

The Sequence of Applicant’s steps seeking the certification his products in Ukraine is described below. The word "certification" implicates here the obtaining of all the certificates and required permission documents. In general our advices are uniform in Ukraine for the certification of products manufactured, for example, in Europe (or in other countries).

At starting the works aimed at conformity attestation and certification of products in Ukraine you should take sequentially the following steps:

1. Define a list of products you intend to certify. Determine whether you suppose to certify a single product or a batch. You should give the exact name of product with indication the customs codes. If possible, categorize the products subject to its types, model and modification. May be, it would be more appropriate to give a products list in the form of a schedule, in order to give it afterward as an attachment to the Application. At that you should imagine, what a products list you would like to see on the certificate. Indicate, if appropriate, a type representative for each product category.
2. Using our Site define a list of required permission documents for your products within Ukraine: certification in the UkrSEPRO System; License for Products Use of Gospromgornadzor of Ukraine, Sanitary-and-Epidemiologic Certificate of Ministry of Health.
3. Choose a certification scheme for serial production. Certification term and value depend on the certification scheme. You may choose a few certification schemes for further consultation with CB "PROMBEZPEKA" and receiving a proposal on prices for works under each certification scheme. 4. Fill in an Application form (Rus, Ukr,  Eng) for certification and, if required, in case of wide products nomenclature an appendix to the application (Rus, Eng, Ukr). Ukrainian applicants fill in the application and the appendix in Ukrainian, foreign applicants may fill in the application forms in Russian or English.
5. If needed fill in an application for getting License for Products Use (Rus, Eng, Ukr) from the Gospromgornadzor of Ukraine and an application for getting a Sanitary-and-Epidemiologic Certificate of  Ministry of Health (the application forms we shall mail to you on your request). The works on products certification and getting other documents under technical regulation are carried out on the ground of applications from a manufacturer or a seller. On receipt an appropriative documented empowerment from you we can submit an application for Sanitary-and Epidemiologic Certificate of the MH on your behalf.
6. Attach to the Certification Application normative and technical documentation according to the given general list (Rus, Eng, Ukr). On a type product representative (see c.1) collect a set of documentation on products according to the list. Form files for every concrete product type individually according to the list of documents submitted to the CB "PROMBEZPEKA" and to other licensing organizations (Gospromgornadzor and Ministry of Health). You should take into consideration that some of the documents must be provided in Russian or Ukrainian (first of all maintenance documentation: manufacturer’s specification, installation specifications and operating instructions). A specified list for your specific products will be sent to your address in the case you commission us to carry out this works.
7. Consult (orally or per e-mail) with CB "PROMBEZPEKA". Make a contract for carrying out all the required works.
